Fly fishing expeditions with a mobile base camp in Argentina

One concept.
Different waters.

A base camp on wheels, a small group, and rivers most anglers never reach.

What this is actually about

Camp life is half the trip

Our mobile base camp is at the heart of every Unmapped Waters expedition. It brings together fly fishing, camp life and meals cooked over an open fire.

From the high-altitude rivers of Antofagasta de la Sierra to the clear mountain waters of Río Dorado in the Yungas jungle and the streams of Córdoba's sierras, each destination is a different way to experience Argentina.

The landscapes, species and physical and technical demands change. The spirit of adventure stays the same.

Fly fishing at altitude

The high-altitude rivers of the Puna, at 4,000 metres (13,120 feet) and above. Vast landscapes and an extreme environment make this one of our most demanding adventures.

Autonomy, access and comfort in extreme conditions

The mobile base camp

Our 4×4 truck is the backbone of the expedition. It gives us the autonomy to reach remote rivers and adapt to extreme conditions. This is how we fish beyond traditional access.

It is fully equipped to run as a self-sufficient base camp. Sleeping quarters, living space, kitchen and bathroom are packed into a compact layout built for long days on the water and a comfortable recovery at the end of each one.

This is not a luxury lodge. It is a carefully planned expedition for anglers who are comfortable with remoteness and changing conditions.
